Britney Spears had a "very nice conversation" with the judge about the status of her conservatorship ... this according to Judge Reva Goetz ... but Britney is still under a conservatorship.
The judge just took the bench a few minutes ago and said, "At this time all orders will remain in full force and effect."
TMZ just told you ... the judge has discussed ending the conservatorship with the lawyers over the last few sessions, but for now it's not ending.
The judge said she met with Britney and Jamie individually.
And there was a petition to approve the "investment strategies" of Britney's trust, and the judge gave the green light.

she's doing so well the last 3 years & i don't understand why she can't go on her own yet. we'll see what the future brings considering this conservatorship.
she's been doing so well past 3 years & she have to be under the conservatorship. hopefully it ends soon tho. keep up the good work Brit! <3
Geez. If I was a nut case I'd snap out of it fast enough to be in charge of hiring people to manage my affairs. How much does her father get for doing this? I forgot.
Picture is blurry because TMZ reporter saw a car nearby with driver who looked like he was going to accelerate :)
Britney has to file for a petition to end the conservatorship I believe. Until she does that the judge can't do anything.
She's doing well because of the conservatorship. Face it, she needs supervision. She is like a nine year old. She has mental health issues and she is learning disabled. She is simply not smart enough to take good care of herself or her children. It is a good thing she has talent or she would probably be wandering the streets. Just because she has a conservator it doesn't mean that he gives her no say in day to day decisions. We don't know what her daily life is like. I am sure she talks to her father and he probably steps in when necessary. As for his pay, big deal. At least the money is going to family. I am sure he earns every penny. Taking care of that group is like running a business where you work 24 hour days. If Jamie wasn't doing it they would have to hire more lawyers, caretakers and nurses and that would cost even more.
Originally I was against the conservatorship but time has proven me wrong. I think that the court, the attorney, and her father have saved her life and protected her from predators. I believe that she is not a well person and that the care these people are giving her is spectacular.
Why did she need to be there? They probably just stuck her at a kiddie table with some play-doh while the 'grownups' talked.
What a crappy picture. Can't you guys do better than that? You can't see anything.
