Oksana's New Lawyer -- Lucky Number 40

10/18/2010 1:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Oksana Grigorieva showed up to court this morning for a hearing in her child support case with Mel Gibson -- and wouldn't you know it ... she has a new lawyer!

1018_oksana_lawyer_EX_Getty_01
The new man in Oksana's life is Mitchell Jacobs -- a family law attorney who has been a Board Certified Family Law Specialist since 1986.

We're told Jacobs was brought in because today's hearing involves a certain technicality and they reached out to Jacobs because he's a family law specialist.

Sources say it is unclear whether Jacobs will remain on full-time.

1018_grigorieva_tmz_small_vAs we first reported, Oksana has used 39 different lawyers so far in her child support case with Mel Gibson. The latest point of contention -- whether the judge's ruling that Mel has to amp up his child support payments to $20,000/month includes the housing payments Mel has been making.

As the old saying goes, 40th time is a charm.

The worse part about this whole Oksana Circus...

Every woman in LA who's dating a man with money will think she can pull this off. I mean, why not, just hire Horowitz or Gloria and go for it. If you stall long enough and find the right judge, the skys the limit.

I am inclined to think she is about 40. JMO. I don't think she is near 50. For one thing, a person's hands are a good indicator. She has the beginnings of "turkey neck" but I have seen that on skinny women in their thirties. Her face of course is filled, puffed and plasticized, but her hands look about right.

The media helped over dramatize the term “Deadbeat Dads” until every father who wants to fight for any right is labeled one. It’s time to uncover the alternate phenomena – for every Dead Beat Dad there’s a Me-Me Mom. These mothers care more about control, revenge, hatred, and “getting even” than they care about the welfare of their children. The Me-Me-Mom is extremely egocentric and at best doesn’t realize the psychological and emotional damage she is doing to her children by denying them access to their fathers. There is a scientific term for the extreme example of a Me-Me Mom called Malicious Mother Syndrome. Every leading child psychologist agrees that positive physical and emotional bonding with one’s biological parents is one of the main ingredients to healthy development. Until our Family Courts catch up with the times, judges will continue to allow mothers to deny and limit access to loving fathers. There are currently federal class action lawsuits in forty-five states brought on by non-custodial fathers who believe that the current Family Court rulings are Un-Constitutional (Fourteenth Amendment). Many have probably heard of the International group Fathers 4 Justice. These men dress up in super hero costumes, climb public monuments and do whatever it takes to draw attention to their child custody plights. Maybe it’s time every father becomes the super hero that his child sees in him, without having to fight for the right. Happy Father’s Day!

I felt this needed to be repeated, it's so true and I've seen it happening all over. Time for people to stand up for the fathers!

@ Michael

Probably his graduation picture.

My bet is that he has no more hair up top, he already looked like he was trying to do a comb over on this picture.

I'm so glad Lucia is a baby and not able to comprehend what's going on around her, and I hope her son is in therapy because this mudslinging her lawyers and her are doing will take it's toll on her children. I feel just sick for them.

I think Oksana's PR team are trying to put out so many stories to keep the posts down. People are drawn to a story sometimes by the number of hits it recieves. The more stories the less people will keep commenting, they will move to the new story.

But remember, fathers have almost no rights in California.

Just look at this case, she was just his girlfriend and she never even lived with him. He made the mistake of taking care of her and giving her a place to stay, and paying her bills. When she lost interest she manipulated him [flirting with the landscape guy right in front of Mel] and then she illegally taped a heated conversation [which she coached him into] which she had professionally edited, and then used the threat of it's release to extort Mel into Mediation. He then offered her $15M.

She decided she could do better and went for the big payday.

She found the right attorney in Horowitz, and now she is able to manipulate the courts into making Mel continue to pay all her bills, and give her 4 times the average salary of a single mom on top of that.

The bottom line is this...
Oksy's bills are already paid, and she has $22,500 liquid each month to blow on whatever she wants, and she never has to work on her back again.

Oksana is living every middle age woman's dream.
