I am actually related to her (and the rest of the Boone family)! We are like 4th or 5th cousins, I have never had the chance to meet them but since I was a little girl I idolized Debbie and her song. Maybe someday I will get a chance to meet them all but Debbie truly has the gift to light up peoples life with song.

Wow, she's looking great at 54! I never liked her Christian fundamentalist goody two shoes image (just like her father!!!) but it looks like she's been liven healthy with all daddy's money!!!

I saw her on a recent PBS special. She is still very attractive but much too thin.

How did she "turn" to Christian music? You Light Up My Life is a Christian song.

Don't think she's just lived off of Daddy's money. She's been pretty successful w/ her recording career - country & Christian, but has done a lot of theater too, including Broadway. Most recently, she's done more of the "cabaret" music and sung with orchestras, doing a tribute to the music of her mother-in-law, Rosemary Clooney.
