And Condiment Debate

Billy Bob Thornton is a huge Arkansas Razorbacks fan -- and speaking of SEC football ... did you know LSU fans are called "corn dogs"? And speaking of corn dogs ... are you supposed to eat them with mustard or ketchup?

He told a great story on Leno once about he was walking down Hollywood Blvd and saw his star on the sidewalk, so he just stood there watching people walk past and look at him strangely.

TMZ needs to poll the condiment debate because the mixed ketchup and mustard IS THE BEST!

1. No one calls us flagshippers...we call ourselves the Hogs or hog fans...never heard the term flagshipper.
2. Ketchup on a corndog rocks!

Being from LSU, I have to say I have NEVER heard of LSU fans being called Corndogs. I think it is just bologna!

LSU fans aren't called corndogs. They are said to smell like corndogs because they all look like carneys at the state fair.

Someone has wrong information here. LSU fans ARE NOT called corndogs. That is just stupid.

The whole backstory to the LSU/corndog thing is that someone posted a story on one of Auburn's sites about how LSU fans smell like corndogs. BUT this story was reportedly adapted (plagiarized) from a story someone at OU wrote about Nebraska (Cornhuskers - Corndogs).

I was born and raised in AR and still live here today. I have been a Razorback fan my whole life and we do not call ourselves "flagshippers" nor is it a nickname for Razorback fans. The U of A is using the term "Flagship" as part of their new advertising campaign for radio and TV. They are saying they are "the flagship unniversity of AR". Just thought I'd pass the info along! I love you guys at TMZ, I just wish your camera guy would have asked Billy about being a "flagshipper" b/c his response probably would have been priceless!

wpsgirl- you're kinda right but there are hog fans on tigerdroppings site which i'm sure is where the tmz lsu fan haunts that call themselves that. so yes, historically, we haven't referred to ourselves as the flagship but they do on there. i think it probably started out as a gag but then sort of evolved into it being a 'thing' now. i think it's kinda cute actually so i'm aboard.

go hogs!!!
