HELP with Voters

President Barack Obama
's kick ass rendition of Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" at The Apollo last night was GREAT for his campaign ... because it humanizes him to voters ... this according to Al Sharpton.

The Rev -- who ALSO killed it on stage at The Apollo a few years ago with a GREAT rendition of James Brown's "I Feel Good" -- was out in NY today when we asked for his expert opinion.

Rev told us, "The President has SKILLS ... he showed real skills ... he sang an almost perfect falsetto."

He added ... "[The performance] humanizes him, and it makes people understand he knows the words to the song. How many presidents actually know the lyrics to the Al Green song?"

Obama was elected to get us out of this recession and he hasn't done that. He's actually discouraged job growth by doing things like blocking the Boeing plant in SC and the Keystone oil pipeline from Canada.

He's also worsened our debt crisis, trampled all over the Constitution, and continued a belligerent foreign policy that only worsens the threat of terror against us. He could sing like a bird, but that won't change the hard and cold facts.

Who is Al Green? Who is Al Sharpton? Who knows the lyrics? Probably Bill Clinton, who called himself the first black president, and obviously the present oval office resident, the second black president. As others have said, this is not a criterion for voting for president. In fact, it is probably a drawback, a detriment, that a presidential candidate should know these lyrics. I'm hiring someone to manage our nation's welfare and safety, not be on the BillBoard top 100.

Man, that little sound bite got me all hot and bothered. Not that it will make a difference how I vote....

Good thinking. Like Obama, love Al Green. Sharpton...not so much. But "Loving you whether times are good or bad, happy or sad"...nice thought.

Worst president in history. I don't give a crap about whether he can sing or not.

Obama made me proud twice this week. No expensive, unnecessary oil pipeline from Canada and now this charming bit of song. Love him.

First it was "BoBo the President throws a ball." Now, it's "BoBo the President sings a song." How very "special" of him.

A song will not get anyone elected. Unless maybe it's a white trash town and that's how they do things.

If Obama did less campaigning (and singing) and provided a little in the way of leadership....well, forget it, it's not going to happen.
