Derek Boogaard (born June 23, 1982 and passed away May 13, 2011) is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger who currently plays for the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Known primarily as a fighter and enforcer, he is nicknamed the "Boogeyman" and "The Mountie". Derek was found dead in his apartment in Minneapolis on Friday.
