Katharina Brow was murdered on May 21, 1980, at her home in Ayer, Massachusetts. Shortly after, Kenneth Waters was arrested and convicted of her murder. More than 18 years later, Waters was released from prison, after his sister obtained a law degree and exposed the DNA evidence that cleared her brother of the crime. The story is told through the 2010 movie, "Conviction" starring actress, Hillary Swank.
