Patrick Monahan

Patrick "Pat" Monahan (born February 28, 1969) is the lead singer and songwriter for the Grammy award winning band Train. He is a successful solo artist, and has collaborated with multiple artists. Pat plays acoustic guitar, mandolin, percussion, saxophone, flute, electric violin, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, and teaches ukulele. Monahan was born in Erie, Pennsylvania. He released his first solo album, Last of Seven, on September 18, 2007 and began a nation-wide tour in support of it. He followed the tour up with a small, intimate acoustic tour, which inspired his Last of Seven Acoustic compilation, available via digital download only. His first solo single, "Her Eyes" made the top 10 of Billboard's Hot AC chart. Monahan currently resides in Seattle, Washington and San Francisco, California with his second wife Amber Peterson.
