TMZ has learned that Ashlee Simpson has turned down a $4 million offer to pose for Playboy. 
In Touch Weekly first reported the offer, and said the pop star was considering it. TMZ spoke with Rob Shuter, Ashlee's publicist, who confirmed that Ashlee did indeed receive an offer to pose in the legendary men's mag -- but turned it down.
A source close to Ashlee told TMZ the offer was big -- $4 million to be exact.
A newly glammed Simpson is currently on tour promoting her recent album, "I Am Me."

I find it hard to believe Playboy offered her that much for Ashlee. I wonder what their source would say the offer was for. I just don't know of many guys that would increase Playboy's circulation for her. Nothing against her at all it just doesn't seem like her name comes up much.

Since her transformation, Ashley looks hot! Better than her sister! Has anyone noticed how Jessica doesn't photograph well unless she is air brushed and posed? Look at her recent pic on the red carpet where she is standing next to Eva Longoria. She looks terrible.

There was a playboy exec on Howard Stern once that said they allow 'celebs' to inflate the amount of money offered to them so they can save face but Playboy has never really paid more than $1mil for photos. So, I doubt she was offered $4mil! Her people are just letting us regular folk know how much she is wanted now that she's had more plastic surgery than Pam Anderson!

Did you guys not see the picture that heads this page ? The girl is pretty damn hot and I'm a straight female for god sake. How you guys can be so blind to the fact that the girl looks good I have no clue. Of course Playboy wants her and when she is older and more mature, and understands all the possitives and negitives of being in that type of mag, thats when they should ask her . Not when shes still a kid.

Nose job did her some good. But what is up with her sister Jessica, and the cheap imitaion of Madonna's song Holiday. She will always play catch up with others like Britney, Christina, Madonna, then soon Ashey, her sister. Everyone young and old can determine that Jessica, cheap tricked Madonna's classic. I do not believe she was offered 4 mil for a second! Something else the Simpson Camp put out there to convince us all she is more of a celeb than she is! Nope - not buying it - I believe the offer, not the $$

This was probably just a tactic by Playboy to try and get Jessica to pose. They figured if they threw that much money at Ashlee, Jessica would get offended they didn't offer it to her first. Then they would offer her 1-2 million more than they offered Ashlee and rescind their offer to Ashlee. And Jessica would reclaim her title of hottest Simpson sister. Plus she would know that it would make Nick jealous if she did it. And Papa Joe would just sit back and wait for one of them to take it because either way he gets paid. Remember he bragged about Jessica having double D's. I don't buy it for one second that Ashlee was the Simpson sister Playboy really wanted. Jessica would sell Playboy magazines, not Ashlee. And that's what it's about.

Is that Ashlee or Paris Hilton? With all of Ashlee's plastic surgery, it's hard to tell the two apart. Maybe they'll do a tag-team Playboy spread when their "careers" are going down the toilet, which hopefully will be in about 14:59 from now.
