Lets Get This Party Started
Lonelygirl15 Ain't So Lonely Anymore

So the latest on YouTube starlet Lonelygirl15, if this morning's reports are to be believed, is that a "pair of filmmakers" has copped to helping start the Internet phenomenon.

But the story that's been told so far isn't the real deal -- and TMZ knows it. Normally we tell you everything -- but because of source confidentiality we can't this time. It's a much more intriguing and hilarious tale than anyone knows. When we can, we'll spill it.

The identity of video blogger known as Lonelygirl15-who captivated audiences all summer on her website and YouTube with her videos about her adolescence in a small town, living with religious parents-still isn't known, but, according to this morning's LA Times, that mystery is a little closer to being solved. The Times reports that a duo of filmmakers has come forward to admit that they are behind the Lonelygirl15 phenomenon, and that it's part of "a website centered around video and interactivity" that they are building. So this might mean that Lonelygirl15 might become a whole lot more famous than she is already-if they'll ever tell us who she is.

Slips, Trips, and Flubs at Fashion Rocks

Last night's broadcast of the "Fashion Rocks" show on CBS might have looked good if you were watching at home -- but it was no fun for audience members who watched it live at Radio City Music Hall, and it was generally full of gaffes to boot. Christina Aguilera gave a fumbling minder a dirrrrty look when she stepped on the train of her dress on the red carpet – and country stars Faith Hill and Tim McGraw had an eventful night as well.

McGraw performed a romantic duet with his wife Hill -- and then promptly slipped and fell on his face as soon as the song was over, says Page Six. He left the stage in silence while the audience gasped. Hill herself provided what Ben Widdicombe describes as a "Basic Instinct moment" when her Zac Posen dress slid up during the performance.

Meanwhile, presenters like Eva Mendes, Scott Weiland and Drea de Matteo needed two takes (or more, in the case of De Matteo, who got booed for her slip-ups) to get their lines down. And some audience members were so annoyed that they walked out, creating an awkward situation for the cameras. TiVo never looked so good!

Real-Life Ari Sweats It Out in Canada

The inspiration for "Entourage"'s Ari Gold -- real-life Endeavor super-agent Ari Emanuel -- lost his famous cool the other night at the Toronto Film Festival when a screening of Sasha Baron-Cohen's new movie "Borat" stalled. Emanuel, who is the "Ali G" star's agent, was "nervous-looking," Variety reports, especially when the audience grew restless at the delay and started to boo. Another Emanuel client, filmmaker Michael Moore, even yelled out, "If this doesn't get fixed you're going to get fired, motherf***er." Maybe Moore's been watching a little too much "Entourage."

Party Favors: Gest Wants Pre-Nup Tossed, Affleck & Damon Now "Mature Family Men"

Liza Minnelli's ex-husband David Gest has asked a Manhattan judge to throw out their prenuptial agreement, a move that would allow him to go after Minnelli's considerable fortune if the request is granted, reports the New York Daily News ... The LA Times observes Ben Affleck and Matt Damon at the premiere of Affleck's new film "Hollywoodland," and notes just how much difference almost a decade can make. Back then, at the height of their "Good Will Hunting" fame, the two were the brash, cocky face of young Hollywood and were dating starlets (Gwyneth Paltrow and Winona Ryder) -- now, the two showed up to the soiree with wives Jennifer Garner and Luciana Barroso, and the two also recently welcomed their first children.

If you know it, spill it. Really nice to be able to say, "oh we knew what was going on" when everyone knows. That's just pretencious of you!

52. The newly discovered videos and photos of Jessica Rose are digital fabrications professionally created from the images made by the 16 year old girl in the lonelygirl15 YouTube videos. Her history as an actress is has also been recently created and is fabrication.
All of the recently released images and the history of her being an actress is part of a campaign to change the publics perception of the girl in the original videos. lonelygirl15 was developing a large following cult following on YouTube with young impressionable teens.
The newly found images have been professionally created and digitally modified using the original lonelygirl15 images found in the YouTube videos.

If you want a good story you should have someone look into who provided the funding for this recent campaign and why. It would also be quite interesting to know what exactly the young girl in the original YouTube videos was involved in with regard to her religious beliefs.

53. Lonely Girl 15 My thoughts

The bigger question is would you pay to ever see her act? I wouldn't and nor would I be interesting in seeing any of her movies. Mainly because she is dry and melancholic and to me that's not acting. Sure others were convinced and thought she was real from the get go, but to lie to get others believe you can act is not acting at all. It's called lying.

Think about it you have been had and have been lied to by someone on the net. What does that say for their reputation to the rest of the world? If a person has respect for themselves they would have considered their reputation first.

Your first impression will always leave a lasting impression on others. Another thing what does this say about lying? It's okay to lie to get your own way through life? I don't hate her as a person because it would seem that you couldn't get to know someone like that. Would she put on another act? I dislike the way she and the people involved felt they had to prove themselves to others.

Now they have a community where they will conform people to their kind of thinking. If you don't think like the rest of them that love her abilities then they will jump on you and call you a troll just because you don't agree with them as they did with one person who questioned the whole thing. I personally agree with them minus the swearing because what he said made sense. I have to wonder if they will become a cult? Cults operate in a way where as if you don't agree with others then they either brainwash you or kick you out. I would suggest get away as soon as possible!

A person cannot speak their thoughts freely because if you don't follow their flock in the community they will down grade you for speaking the real truth. What ever happened to freedom of speech!

I think of it this way "Birds of a feather will flock together". For people that like fakeness maybe they too are fake as well?

I think the nickname also speaks for it’s self……….Lonely……………Girl. Could any one ever trust them or want to trust them after a stunt like that?

The media seems to jump on it like it’s something hot and fresh right off the press. They are playing right into their hands as well. Why would they even want to give time for that? I think that they are attention seekers because real actors and actresses don’t have to seek attention like that.

It’s a tough business and some will make it in that line of business and some won’t. It appear that what we are watching is society social embracing almost any form of entertainment. It becomes a media circus reporting just about any thing that goes on.

Think about it and those of you who follow up on this sort of thing why would you just blow it off and say well ok she lied but it’s okay next……wow is all I got to say so what I gather is lying is ok and not a problem at all. Would you hire someone if they lied to you in order to get the job?

Would you be able to trust them to work for you if they weren’t honest with you from the very begging? Where is your head man? I guess it’s easier to trust someone whom were aren’t all that close to then someone we are the closest to with friends and family.

I believe in giving people chances but not if they are going to lie just to manipulate me. Folks that is just what they have done. They have manipulated you and a number of you fell for it. Now how smart is that? What does that say about you as a person for accepting that kind of behavior and your own reputation?

It would be more different if they had the decency to apologize to the rest of the world and others for what they did because it's wrong to lie and to manipulate others just to get what you want. All I have to say shame on you Jessie Lee Rose and company! Just remember what shapes you as a person makes you what you truly are. Someone who isn’t trust worthy or cares about her own reputation and that goes for the rest that were involved with you.
