Mel Walks His Daughter Down the Aisle

Mel Gibson came out of seclusion Saturday to the sound of chiming wedding bells. The embattled actor proudly walked his 26-year-old daughter Hannah down the aisle, as she married blues guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Hannah is the eldest of Mel's seven children and his only daughter.

The lavish ceremony took place at Holy Family Catholic Church in Agoura Hills, Calif., which Mel built using his own personal fortune. The traditional Catholic ceremony was reportedly performed entirely in Latin.

After the ceremony, the happy couple was promptly whisked away in a jet black limousine, as both cameras and well-wishers looked on.

Shepherd is no newbie to fame; the musician achieved his first platinum album while in high school and received a Grammy nomination for both his "Trouble" and "Live On" albums.

7. mel sucks, i bet you can't even remember 3/4 of the films he's done. he's never ever got an oscar for acting and those directing/producing oscars were one time in the mid 90's, ten years ago. he's been in the business since 1977! not a good record for such a "good" actor. he's got a face like the decadent drunk that he is.
of course the paparazzi are going to follow him, he made a public ass of himself, defamed a whole religion (and this wasn't the first time he's been like this for years ) bankrolls an anti-semitic movie, builds his own anti-semitic church,because we catholics in the real world don't believe in that anti-judaic crap.
and just because he apologized doesn't mean he doesn't still habor the same biggoted feelings. you pro-mel sympathizers probably feel the same way or you would also be offended. I as a devout Catholic am shamed by him!

9. I feel so sorry for Hannah having her wedding day be the event where Mel is first seen again. This girl has done nothing wrong and for all we know, doesn't share the same beliefs as he does and was appauled by what he said. Hannah has probably had to deal with an alcoholic dad most of her life, and this just made it worse. Best of luck to her and here's hoping she learned from her dad's ways.

Poor Mel's daughter was probualy scared to death when that drunken old man was walking her down the aisle...Can he even walk a stright line without falling and calling her Sugart*ts and screaming about them f*&%$ Jews? He looks really drunk in that picture...He is such a trainweck, I feel sorry for her being that her father is a rascist alcoholic mess.
