Bling H2O: Say What?

Just when the word "bling" had finally run its course, along comes Bling H2O.
Bling h2o
Sold as a high-end, über-fashionable bottled water, Bling H2O is the brainchild of Hollywood writer-producer Kevin G. Boyd. After spending time on studio lots observing celebrities treat their bottled water as a fashion accessory, Boyd decided to create the Cristal of bottled water. The brand features hand-crafted bottles decorated with Swarovski crystals and commands $35 each. At that price, the water is definitely going to be kept in the hands of those who are screaming to be noticed.

So if you're looking to impress folks with your ability to spend way too much on water, just pick up a bottle of Bling H2O and watch them stifle their laughter as they buy themselves dinner instead.

Wow. Talk about a useless way to spend money. Well, at least this could ensure a bit less pollution, since people who will buy this are sure to keep the bottle for a while instead of throwing it away like they would with an ordinary plastic bottle...

So Hollywood writer-producer Kevin G. Boyd, already above the fray, comes up with yet another way for the rich, to make money from the rich. Well I guess it takes money to make money.

I dont see this being popular though. A-List celebs like to pretend they are above the fray ... not pretentious... blah blah. I cant see many of them buying a bottle of water that's sole purpose is to be flashy/pretentious/etc. But I could be wrong ...

Bling is HOT! And I hear they're donating some of their profits to Bono's "Do the Red Thing" foundation (benefitting AIDS charities in Africa)

A waste of resources and damaging to the environment, and air. Slam-Slap in the face to those who need clean water and food, but could never afford this.. What a stoopid idea..

Why would celebrities waste their money on this when they could be shopping on Ebay for children?

I would buy one, just to say I did! =) Come on guys lightin up a little bit, . You don't have to be rich to buy one, it's all in your head, splurging once in awhile never hurt anyone. Some people will spend 35.00 on a 12 pack, and a bad crack habit, so 35.00 on water doesn't seem so bad after all...

This is just sad. Apparently this man had nothing better to do, and the people who buy are just stupid. And those who advertise it are just as stupid. It's the same water everyone else gets, you're just paying for the bottle. $35 my ass, yeah right. I understand what others are saying, buying it just to say you did. Ok cool, but it's still ridiculous.
