19. Beyonce must have been good in Dream Girls or she would have gotten a Globe nomination #14 so stop the hattin! And #15 she got grammy nominations for both the songs your trashing! So you also need to jump off the hater train!! Why do people feel the need to trash one person just to defend someone else! They are both talented!

21. Beyonece is talented woman. Her father did go a bit far and I believe that he only want to take on Hudson so he could limit her career so his daughter will shine as he did with Destiny Child. Beyonce is 25 know and it is time to get some things under control. I am happy that Hudson turned him down. I think Beyonce has had her day now it is time for someone else and I think she has found her match in Hudson.

24. You can take this to the bank. Jennifer Hudson WILL be nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar and will be the odds on favorite. Beyonce Knowles will NOT even be nominated. There simply are too many other outstanding female lead performances this year.

25. The Globes don't care about big names they judge by a persons performance! That why both B and Jennifier got nomination they were both good! The two of them have had nothing but good things to say about each other so I wish people would stop trying to pitt them agianst each other!

26. Well, I personally like Beyonce and do beleive she has talent for singing... That said, I did not like her acting in the Austin Powers movie nor the Pink Panther one. I've never heard Jennifer Hudson sing, except for a snip-it of the signature song for Dream Girls, I didn't really like her version that was made popular by the woman who starred in the original broadway play... This is about their acting capabilities as well, so until I see the movie I will not comment.

Matthew Knowles wanted to manage Jennifer Hudson for all of the wrong reasons. He would smothered Jennifer's career while promoting Beyonce's. He is the NEW Joe Jackson, and I agree with the poster who stated the reason Jay probably hasn't asked Beyonce to marry him was because of her JOE JACKSON DADDY, and her domineering MAMA...

27. Jennifer is the star of the movie. Everyone, including Beyonce herself, has admitted as much. So how did Beyonce get Best Actress and Jennifer Best Supporting? So unfair. But Jennifer will have the last laugh. Beyonce does not have a shot in hell of winning against Meryll Streep (sacrilege). Jennifer has a better shot in her category.

I am definitely going to be watching next year. I want to see Matthew pull a Kanye on stage when his daughter loses. He probably snatch the award from Meryll screaming ... "She went on a fast and dropped 20 lbs. She studied a whole six months with an acting coach. She had 40 million wardrobe changes. I ...she deserves to win...damn it!" It's gonna be priceless.

28. I don't think B will win either but as you pointed out #27 she's going up against Meryll Streep! I think Jennifiers Category is much easier to win because she's not going up against one of the geatest actresses of all time! I mean I heard she was great and all and I can't wait to see her performance but I wonder if she would win if she had better people in he category!

Beyonce is nominated for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy....Hudson is nominated as Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture. The Musical or Comedy category is only at the Golden Globes, I believe....come Oscar time there will be no such category. I think it speaks volumes that Hudson was nominated under the motion picture category.
