20. Sometimes I log on to this site to see if there is ANYBODY out there who has something insightful or profound to say (Humourous is also nice). But the very strange people who only kinda skim a story and then go off on their agenda, like they are going to CHANGE MINDS, by using just the "Cap Lock" button or their very simplistic world view. Takes me back to when I was in high school Latin class and I realized I hadn't a clue what the teacher was talking about, and DIDN"T FU*CKING CARE!

But the "Colbert Report" episode that people on Capitol Hill are still talking about is the "Colbert Report" in which Congresswoman Sherri Davis, R-CA, was a guest, and she and Stephen Colbert were talking in the unisex bathroom while fighting for mirror space, and Congesswoman Sherri Davis made a few excessively candid remarks about Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney, caling him a "Ludicrous Larry" and a "Peter Pan Panderer." New York, NY (USNEWS) November 26, 2006 -- In an apparently unintentional reprise of CNN reporter Kyra Phillips' highly publicized on-air bathroom remarks broadcast live on CNN earlier this year, Congresswoman Sherri Davis, R-CA, was caught on tape today in the bathrooms of "The Colbert Report" calling Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney a "Peter Pan panderer" who has become "obsessed with homosexuality -- and not in a good way."

Davis, known as the "Ann Coulter of Anaheim" for her fierce opposition to flag-burning and illegal immigrants and her unyielding support of the American family, made the remarks in response to news that Romney had filed a lawsuit Friday asking his state's highest court to order the Massachusetts state legislature to vote on a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage or to place it on the 2008 ballot if lawmakers do not take up the provision.

Davis apparently thought her mike had not yet been turned on as she and "Colbert Report" host Stephen Colbert shared a mirror in the studio's unisex bathroom prior to her scheduled interview. Colbert's top-ranked "The Colbert Report" is a frequent stopping-off point for Republican policymakers passing through New York.

In her extremely candid remarks, Davis labeled Romney a "Ludicrous Larry" for asking his state's "activist judges" to help him "play the gay card twice."

"The Republican play book says it's okay to play the gay card once, and in fact we encourage it," said Davis, a fiscal conservative who chairs the House Entertainment Committee. "But to attempt to play the gay card twice in the same state is a recipe for disaster. I mean, look what just happened in Ohio -- the whole state, right down the toilet."

For Romney to be asking the state's activist judges to force the issue onto the state ballot creates the impression that Romney has an "unhealthy obsession with homosexuality -- and not in a good way," said Davis in her controversial remarks, adding that he risks being labeled a "Peter Pan Panderer" and a "Ludicrous Larry."
