The paparazzi agency that Howard K. Stern's lawyers believe paid Anna Nicole Smith's mother, Virgie Arthur, more than $12,000 for pictures and video footage, won't confirm that a transaction took place, but they ain't exactly denyin' it.

In a statement to TMZ, the agency said, "Splash News and Picture Agency, in the great tradition of journalism, protects its sources and all financial matters are kept confidential. Splash has a reputation for breaking major news stories, and TV stations, newspapers and magazines around the globe license images and video footage to illustrate those stories."

Earlier today, Arthur was testifyin' that she ain't never had no deal with Splash.

2. Why does that really matter.....when Howard just sold "ET" the baby reunion tape and other "ET" exclusives???? If anyone knows how to make a buck off of someone, it is Howard k. Stern!

7. On the stand, Virgie said her "sister" and then her "sister-in-law" shot the video of her at Daniel's grave in the Bahama's. Virgie said she [the sister-in-law or whoever] is the one who gave the tape to the media, which, to me, suggests Virgie got money for it through her.

9. of course she got money,she will never say it.It is so sad that Anna only wanted to be love by her family and she was not .They only used her. in life and now in death.She needs to go back to texas and let her rest in peace,her body is not going to have a viewing because all this people after money do not let a ruling happend.I pray for anna and her son.what a shame.Yes Anna now we know who your mother is!

10. Who cares if she did get some money or expenses paid, if you are going to base a decision on that then Howard Stern has profited for years and $600,000 off her dead son's pictures and Anna profitted from her dead son, hey it's a family tradition.

11. One other thing. Wasn't Virgie's statement about how her mother told her to give Daniel to Anna Nicole when he was a child interesting? I wonder if Virgie "raised" him when he was a small child because Anna wanted her to or because Virgie kept Anna from him because of her lifestyle?

12. I agree with you, Christina. She thinks she's pretty smart but not smart enough. I hope and pray that Anna's last wishes to be buried in the Bahamas with her beloved son are honored by the judge. I'm sure Virgie is seeing only $$$$ signs which is why she wants her daughter buried in Texas.

13. Now I fully understand why ANS hated her mother. She was white trash, uneducated and very controlling. Let Anna Nicole Smith be buried in the Bahamas with Daniel as per her wishes. Why should any parent have the right to control the life or death of a grown child? If she wanted to be buried in Texas she would have made sure Daniel was also buried there. She chose the Bahamas...so be it!

14. Anna Nicole's mother is not in court today to fight for custody of the baby.
She is there to fight for the right of disposition of Anna Nicole's body.

Since Anna Nicole did not leave a written testiment as to her burial instructions, under Florida Statutes,as next of kin, Anna Nicole's mother DOES have the LEGAL rights to the disposition of Anna Nicoles' body.
