All that nighttime club-prowling is making Lindsay Lohan fear the light.

Alighting from an absurdly shiny SUV as she entered the "Late Show with David Letterman" today in New York, Lohan looked for all the world as though she might explode, or at least melt, when she was hit by the force of the bright spring sun.

And just like that, she disappeared into the Ed Sullivan Theater with supernatural speed, where makeup artists treated the sun-shocked party girl ... but not in front of a mirror.
