I'm not ignorant, you're just intimidated by me and helplessly flailing
about. Talk about small-minded, not to mention brainwashed, you're a
typical AR fanatic. I know all about PETA head Ingrid Newkirk and her
philosophies. And yes, many of you are so fanatical that you would
choose animals over people. Ingrid Newkirk, your heroine, said she
would choose saving a dog over a mentally challenged child if they
both were drowning. I bet you're completely against life saving
animal research, huh? Newkirk said doesn't believe in using
animals(rats) for life saving research even if it brought about a
cure for AIDS. What a kind and benevolent idol you worship.

As for me, I volunteer at homeless shelters, volunteer at Hospice --and yes
volunteer at the local zoo. I put my money where my mouth is, I don't
go around spouting off animal rights propaganda to raise millions for
worthless AR organizations such as PETA. PETA who does nothing but
send out educational fliers in order to raise millions for their
coffers. Period. I know exactly what you and they are all about.
Nothing.

I admit I didn't know all that about PETA, and if what you say is true, then, I have some research to do. All I know is that I am against cruelty to animals, and I don't eat red meat or wear fur or leather, etc...
I work in a hospital and one day came across one of the research dogs who happened to be wandering outside--he was terrified of me and his horrible unnatural appearance shocked me. I tried to get him to run far away and I thought even if he got hit by a car and put out of his misery. he would be better off. He did run away and I never knew what became of him. I just know that that he will haunt me the rest of my life, and yes, you're right, I am against using animals used for research, for ANYTHING. We can find other ways, like using convicts including murderers and pedophiles.
So there. Now I'm going to take my dog for a walk.
And I'm REALLY pissed right now that Melinda got booted off Idol when she should have won next week. Even Simon knows she was robbed!

Sadly your post only supported my argument, that's a kind of twisted viewpoint you have there, and you do need to do a whole lot of studying about the movement you're supporting. But it's obvious you've become firmly entrenched in that mind set, I on the other hand have no problem with using animal products or animals for LIFESAVING research as long as the animals are treated as humanely as possible until their deaths. Your idea about using convicts for medical research is eye opening, and well that says a lot about how you feel about human beings... but whatever. Peace to you ... but I hope you refrain from joining the domestic terrorism group ALF(animal liberation front), because you'll find yourself in hot water and possibly prison (and become one of your hypothetical human lab rats). 60. "Barely Covers her Clam" I don't see any clams in the picture. Anyway- right now clams are supposed to be out of season and not good for eating.
I wouldn't eat her clam if it was in season...and I am a big fan of clams. Her clam is probably covered with seaweed down there. You might even find a sea cucumber hidden away down there
