Lohan Busted on Suspicion of DUI

Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan was cited for investigation of driving under the influence Saturday and was slightly injured when her Mercedes struck a curb, police told the Associated Press.

Lohan, 20, and two other passengers were in her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible when it crashed at about 5:30 AM into a curb on Sunset Blvd., Sgt. Mike Foxen told the AP.

"She was cited and released because she has been admitted to a local hospital for minor injuries," Foxen said.

No one else was hurt and no other cars were involved, Foxen said. He did not have other details. Officers went to the scene after receiving a 911 call about the accident, Foxen said. He went on to say that Lohan will have to appear in court to answer the citation.

Calls to Lohan's rep were not immediately returned.

I would love to ask where the mothers/parents of these girls (Lindsey, Paris, Britney, etc) are, but we all know the answer to that (with the exception of the poor banished mom of Brit)....they want the same attention as their daughters....they're wannabe's also....and they're too busy partying with their daughters. What will they do when something seriously happens to their kids....or they kill someone.....? So sad....and I'm so sick and tired of hearing about them....

38. Oh God, not another celeb DUI. This girls has been an accident waiting to happen for years! She will kill herself, or more likely, an innocent person.

What is wrong with the LAPD. Any one of us would have been arrested at the hospital.

Rebecca Gayheart killed a little boy crossing the street a few years ago. I don't remember if there was alcohol involved, but she was passing a car illegally and speeding. She never lost her license for a day.

43. When will these young actresses (Paris, Nichole, Lindsay) wake up and understand that their actions have consequences? Someone could have been killed! It is baffling why they don't hire a driver with how wealthy they are. Have they never heard, "Don't drink and drive"? It's just so irresponsible! Time to grow up girls! I hope Lindsay gets more than just a slap on the hand. She needs to have her license revoked and mandatory time in AA. If her spin-doctors are smart they will have her in a REAL rehab ASAP (No time out for shopping this time, just rehab 24/7 for 30-45 days)! Lindsay desperately needs the help, but as a plus it will look good to the public and the young girls who look up to her. She really needs to detox and stay sober, no more clubbing! Someone get this girl a sponsor! Her Mom is obviously not watching out for her well being, it seems she is too busy partying herself, very sad...

Lindsay saw all the attention Paris was getting, including the million dollar book deal, so she wants a piece of the action, too.

It's a career move. Plain and simple, cold and calculating. Her publicity agent probably even put her up to it.

BUT - it's too late, it's been done, so I hope she doesn't profit a penny. Toilet time, now, Lindsay.

45. Geez. I just don't get it with these people. They have tons of money and could easily afford a driver for days and weeks on time, let alone a single night, what is their issue? Just plain stupid. It just makes me respect Drew Barrymore that much more, she was messed up, cleaned up (by all appearences) and I don't recall her ever getting into the trouble these young actors are getting into. What an idiot but when you rparents love the money you provide them I guess all standard parenting goes out the window. Tragic, thankfully no innocent people were hurt today by her stupidity!
