Hayden on Paris: Tee-hee!

"Heroes" star Hayden Panettiere hit the town last night and couldn't avoid the inevitable "What do you think about Paris?" question.

Hayden slipped into Parc under the radar last night with her co-star Zachary Quinto (Claire and Sylar should NOT be hanging out together!). But on the way to her car, the paps found her and flashbulbs went flying. As she made her away around the front of her SUV, she got the aforementioned question and simply giggled in response.

Wise beyond her years.

62. Who is this woman anyway and why would we care what she thinks about anyone?

Paris should NOT be in jail...

63. If Paris would just accept responsibility for her actions (breaking the law and endangering everyone on the road) she would calm down. But she still has not said "I broke the law, not once, not twice, (and many many other times where she didn't get caught) but three times. She's on legal drugs now and she's complaining, whimpering and whining still? Go figure. She's getting ugly, ugly, ugly and uglier by the minute. Maybe she doesn't have a mirror and misses looking at herself.. Discusting and her actions are questionable as regards stability. She shouldn't have a licsense ever. Too wacko.

64. 1064. Response to posting 1048, by ‘MiladyM’, ( 10 June, 2007 ).

Thank you ‘MiladyM’ for your courteous response to my postings ( Nos. 1041, 1042, and 1044, of 10 June, 2007 ), and for your outline of Paris Hilton’s matter at court, and your opinion regarding the public ‘outrage’.

Notwithstanding some anomalies that, from time to time, occur in some jurisdictions, I have a great admiration for the American judicial procedures, and jurists. I believe them to be among the best in the world.

However, the extent of the virulent and repulsive ‘outrage’ poured upon Paris Hilton and her family ( who, to my knowledge, were not in the dock ), is quite another matter.

If it is fair to ascribe Paris’ ”… yelling to her mother that it was not fair, her going back to jail” because ( according to your assumption ) she “…and her family seemly believe they are somehow above the law because they are rich”, it would be equally fair to ascribe the public vilification “… because they ( the Hilton family ) are rich”.

Paris’ “…yelling … it was not fair” might not, as you suggested, have been related to “…her going back to jail”, but might have been her response to particular procedural processes between the prosecution and defence arguments. We can only assume what she meant.

Your suggestion that “She ( Paris ) deserves no more compassion then the next person” is an equitable principal which most would agree upon, but in Paris’ circumstances there is apparent evidence, in public information, that suggest otherwise. The compassion she, and her family, has received has been anything but equitable. They have been maliciously and sordidly abused, and vilified; a virulent public ‘outrage’ at its worst.

Most of the postings, on this site, are pure poppycock based upon hypotheticals, wild assumptions, irrelevancies, and lascivious smut; with fierce “anger” to boot. I observed no equitable balance, in the postings, suggesting “compassion”, which is very rather perplexing when considering Paris was, at law, found guilty of a victimless crime.

To all appearances, the proportion of public ‘outrage’ towards Paris and her family, could very well be statistically imbalanced by comparison with felonies. It would be quite transparent, even to the most casual observer, that the public animosity ( expressed in the postings on this site, and elsewhere ) towards this family, is based upon resentment for what they have. An identifying mark of the ‘tall poppy syndrome’. In the public eye, this young lady is guilty of the crime of being born into wealth.

I would suggest that those on the ‘moral high ground’ practice some restraint, and peer into themselves for their own faults and blemishes before passing judgement on this young lady and her family.

66. Unlike Paris Hayden works, and has talent.

Why should she not enjoy herself by going out, when she does not come out of a club drunk or showing up for work late.

The next Paris Hilton.. I think not.
