Baby, she leaves a pretty penny!

Brooke Shields and producer/hubby Chris Henchy had dinner last night at Hollywood's favorite Italian joint, Il Sole. A TMZ spy tells us that the couple tipped their server almost 40%! Holy ravioli!

Shields can afford it -- her new series, "Lipstick Jungle" debuts this fall.

7. Let Brooke be an example. Myself as a server and others work our butts off to make a meal or any other service enjoyable. I once had Ron Howards parents all I got was $ 5. I read somewhere, If you don't tip STAY HOME!

8. I love Brooke Shields . She is a real beauty. Her children are charming.She is great to give generous tips. It shows that she appreciates the service .
The book she wrote shows real humanity and compassion toward others. She is great to be honest in saying that she has problems too like anybody else.
She is a great person, a Princeton grad even, yet willing to express her challenges.
