Christopher Walken in "The Chicken Hunter"

He sings, he dances ... he cooks? Damn right he does! And Christopher Walken is going out of his way to make sure you respect his culinary skills!

A homemade video of His Royal Cowbellness whipping together a mouthwatering baked chicken dish was recently submitted to video-based recipe-swapping website Imcooked.com. It's been long rumored that the celebrity chef was looking to host his own cooking show -- but was anyone expecting a grassroots YouTube-style campaign?

While nobody at the office has tried the recipe ... Walken sure looks pleased. Then again, his taste has become a little questionable lately.

7. He's very endearing in this video, and the chicken and pear dish looks really good! I love this man. He needs to get his own cooking show.

He didn't salt and pepper the bird first and let it sit for a half hour, nor did he use lemon on or other seasonings like rosemary or sage.. nor oil the outside so the skin is a crispy brown sealing in the meaty moist goodness; soak the pear in a juice to bring out and enhance the flavor, cooked it too long for a pear.. so,.. meh.. he's not all that Gourmet; but a saturday putter around the kitchen guy!
