Alba's Late Night Club Cover-Up

Jessica Alba's got some fantastic friends, who went to great lengths to keep her from being photographed on Sunset Blvd. last night.

With Alba's reported ex Cash Warren nowhere to be seen, Jess and a few of her Euro-trashed buddies made a pilgrimage from Hyde to nearby Chateau Marmont -- with TMZ's camera snapping the long walk.

Not ready to give up a shot of their famous friend without a fight, her entourage desperately tried to block the shot by forming a wall with their jackets and shining lights of their own at our lens. A few friends even managed to get their hands on a still camera and started flashing TMZ's camera, with the generally sullen Alba finally cracking a smile at her friend's antics.

7. Is this chick stupid? She is walking on SUNSET Blvd in HOLLYWOOD CA and then to the Chateau Marmont and NOT expect to have papparazzi following her? Or maybe she is really smart and figured acting like an idiot woud guarantee her picture being taken...

8. I think people in Hollywood need to get over themselves - and so do their friends! When you decide to become an actor or actress, you know what comes with the territory! If you don't want your picture taken, don't go out!

11. dumb bitch. first who goes to Hyde anymore (no one!) second, if you go to Hyde you'll be photographed. If you go to Chateau Marmont you'll be photogtaphed. If your dumbass walks from Hyde to Chateau Marmont you definitely are ASKING to be photographed!!! SO why cover up? She came to the prazzi, they didnt come to her! BITCH!!!!!!!~!!!!!!

12. i love how jessica alba constantly says she wants to be taken seriously as an actress and not just for her looks and the next thing you know shes doing a "sexy" phot shoot for GQ, or whoever else.

if she does not want her photo taken than she should try to avoid places where paparazzi wait outside for celebs.

she is a hypocrite on every level.
