I am American and think Robbie is the best entertainer out there. He is heads and tails better than Justin Timberlake. As the saying goes, he has more talent in his little finger....if they could have a concert version of a dance-off between Robbie and our crap entertainers in America Robbie would be the only one left standing any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Don't let some jag-offs who like to act like they know what they're talking about irritate you so much. I consider him a treasure best kept secret. I wish for success for him in America but almost don't want it to happen because I think he would get "packaged" like they love to do over here. Robbie isn't afraid to try new genres (even if he doesn't succeed) and his humor is second to none. He makes fun of himself more than anyone out there.

Timberlake thinks he's god's gift to women and the music world and he's irritating as hell. Robbie gets the best of both worlds the way things are: adoration of millions across the other 9/10's of the globe and he can live here where, as he says, he can walk "unmolested". Sounds pretty good to me! Rock on, Robbie...

Can I just make clear, nobody is saying everybody has to like the same music acts. I really don't care if Americans like Robbie or not. What gets me is the shear arrogance displayed in some of these posts that because an act is not 'big' in America they are somehow worthless. It's a big world out there people. And to call the person who is probably the biggest selling music act worldwide in the past few years a 'one hit wonder, a nobody' just gets right on my wick. If I come across some music act I've never heard of I go google them and click on a YouTube link. Stop being so insular for goodness sake!

Oh and Robbie fans are not all 'British'. Brits make up just a tiny proportion of his fan base.
I've added a link to a concert Robbie gave at Knebworth, England a few years ago. He played to 120,000 a night for 3 nights. Maybe if you take the time to click on the link you'll see why comparing Robbie to JT just makes us laugh on this side of the pond.
