Britney Spears hightailed it to Las Vegas last night to host the opening of LAX Nightclub at the Luxor Casino. Come on in, y'all!
The platinum-haired pop tart arrived on the red carpet wearing a cute, white baby doll dress -- and a wig that looked sewn into the seams of her hat!
Once inside, the host with the most fake hair grabbed the mic to much applause -- and gave a measly, two-sentence introduction. As DJ AM spun records in the 26,000 square foot, two-story party palace, Britney was onstage dancing her heart out -- from her seat.
Littering the VIP section were heiress Nicky Hilton, "That 70s Show" alum Wilmer Valderrama, and "Mindfreak" of the week, Criss Angel.

As usual, she gets paid to be her usual redneck self by showing up late, saying barely anything, and being rude. I hope she tanks at VMA's if she does perform and I hope Celine Dion outsells her on their debut day. She needs to focus on her kids and get it together vs. staging these "wannabe" comebacks. Her days are over.

Where has life gone to, this is what the world is getting excited about my God. I guess it's true the times they are a changing. I'm older and remember when people like Diana Ross had to almost beg to get notice and they had talent. With kids educated in socialist government schools today almost anything goes. Britney Spears hasn't had a hit in five years and because she showed her shaved beaver the media can't get enough of her. I still believe it's the Anna Nicole thing that's fueling this because if she dies their rating will go through the roof!!!

If she does perform at the VMA's, perhaps the audience will respond with silence. Isn't it
odd that the media reports she allegedly wants her appearance to be "shocking", rather than professional, or awesome, or something to make her fans and family proud? I hope her previous fan base indicates to her that her conduct as a performer, a woman and a mother is what is really "shocking", and they can do that by being "silent" at the cash registers when her music is released.

I heard Harvey Levin on Larry King the other night say that Britney was the most popular subject matter by far on TMZ. Harvey, TMZ might post the most headlines about Britney, but you cannot convince me that you get the mosts reply's to her headlines. You wore it out. This is filler stuff for you guys. Its dead. Its boring. Every one of the Britney blogs are the same old crap. Please reduce the Britney blogs and give us some more interesting celebrities and events.

What are you talking about??? She did no such thing @ the Opening. Where does it state in the article she was rude or late? No where! She was only there to open for the New Nightclub. She was well behaved & looked nice then left. Like soneone else stated, she still gets bashed for not causing any problems. Geesh!
