The jury in the Phil Spector trial has indicated to a judge that they have been unable to come to reach a verdict.
Superior Court Judge Larry Fidler says he is considering giving the jury the option of weighing a possible manslaughter charge. The jury is currently considering only a second degree murder charge against the music producer.
The judge has just asked the jurors how they are split. The foreperson has told the judge they are divided 7 to 5. No word on how many are voting for a guilty verdict or how many are leaning towards acquittal.

what can't reach a verdict? This loser and OJ need to both have to serve time together! another loser is gonna get set free!
well if they cant find him guilty then they should charge him with manslaughter!!!! he would get 3-15 yrs if he got that... but like they say money talks in calli!!!!!!
Oh WHY?
What a horror!
Another celeb not getting the same justice as the average joe.
It doesn't happen just in California. It happens everywhere. And this guy was guilty as sin.
THEY LET A BLACK MAN GO AND NOW A WHITE MAN GO..SEE ITS NOT A BLACK/WHITE THING YOU FREAKING IDIOTS!
NOW GO HAVE DINNER!
Unbelievable. There are people on death row who AREN'T guilty and yet this guy who is obviously as guilty as sin can get acquitted? Justice is not just blind, it's deaf, dumb and practically non-existent.
If I were sobering up in the wee hours of the morning to Phil Spector, I might opt to commit suicide - BUT LANA CLARKSON DID NOT! This guy deserves to bunk with Scott Peterson. What the hell is wrong with that jury?!
