Robbie Williams ... Who That?

Robbie Williams is a big star in the UK, but his popularity across the pond was tested last night when a passerby had no clue who he was.


TMZ caught the "Rock DJ" singer outside the El Rey after the Mark Ronson concert, where after getting into his SUV, a man on the street started asking our cameraman, "Who is that?"

Even after being told "Robbie Williams," the guy was clueless. Guess he's not a Take That fan.

46. Robbie Williams i a very big celeb in Europe! Sold out concerst everywhere! ((And in Australia, Japan..)) But USA is a little bit after I´ll guess ;D.. They havent figured it out just yet who is is! And he doesnt want the States t do either,.. Thats why he has a house in USA - He wants to be alone! He wants to live just like a non-celeberty..So he lives in his house in the USA whenever he feels like being left alone.
