Britney Spears -- Hotel Mommy

Multiple sources tell TMZ that Britney's first scheduled visit with her children since being stripped of custody was a disaster.

We're told Spears was to have a scheduled visit with her kids at 10:00 AM Thursday, surrendering the kids to K-Fed later that day. Sources say on Wednesday night, Britney decided she wouldn't see her children at either of her homes -- instead, she wanted to visit with her kids at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. We're told K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, went ballistic.

The way we understand it, a parenting coach was supposed to be present for the visit, and Kaplan felt it was appropriate for the coach to counsel Britney on how to take care of her kids at home -- not at a hotel.

We're told Spears, who checked into the Beverly Wilshire Hotel at 6:00 PM Wednesday and then checked out at 2:00 AM Thursday, went back to her Malibu home and decided not to fight for her desire for a hotel visit with her children.

At 10:00 AM Thursday, the scheduled time for visitation, a K-Fed bodyguard arrived at Brit's Malibu home and rang the buzzer. He waited forty minutes -- but no one came out. With the kids inside the car, we're told the plug was finally pulled and they all went back to K-Fed's.

6. One can deduce from this final episode of "Days of our Brit-Brit", that she does not want her children. It would appear that K-Fed really is the better parent. Ironic indeed.

8. The girl does not want those kids. Babies are cute, but they are a huge responsibility. And being responsible is the last thing Britney wants to do.

9. The purpose of a parenting coach is to help a parent more effectively care for his or her children IN THEIR HOME... and then the visits may extend to other locations. The point here is that she is being supervised and coached and she needs to surrender some control, to show she cares and believes in the professionals in the situation - in the best interest of her children. She should be taking direction and providing a sensible safe home environment. For the kids well being and to show the Court she wants to do the right thing.

10. I pray that someone gets this young lady psychiatric help. I fear that she is a huge suicide risk. Her behavior is getting worse and more bizarre weekly. I would hope someone could do something to help her. Thank God the kids are away from her for the time being.

11. It's weird that she wants to be in a hotel when she has a home. But then again she has been off the wall lately. I don't think it is a huge deal that she wanted to see them there. Of course if a parenting coach was supposed to be there she should be adhering to the orders. And I'm sorry but since when is KFED father of the year? And why isn't he under going drug testing? I don't think he is much better than her. He just passes the kids off on the nannies. I really feel sorry for these kids. Mom's got serious issues and Dad is a money grubbing leach.

12. Obviously just trying to avoid those people with the "brief cases and funny plastic badges", that keep showing at the home in the evening. Bet she gets contempt for not showing personally at the next hearing as ordered!

13. Truly sad. I don't have kids, but I imagine when I do they will be my entire world, how can she be so nonchalent about her own babies?? what has to happen to a mother's mind to ever become that way?? i don't get it

14. Meeting at the chidren's home is much more stable for the children. A hotel gives the kids the wrong impression and does not offer stability. God knows both those boys need as much stability as possible since they have a psycho mom.
