Yes, TMZ really blew it when we mistook this guy for Lance Ito.
TMZ was at the Asian American Arts Alliance's 25th Anniversary Gala at the Tribeca Rooftop, and we managed to scope a slew of luminaries, including "Heroes" star James Kyson Lee, comedian Margaret Cho, Tony winner B.D. Wong, and even R&B beauty Cassie.
Judge Ito was not in attendance.

Judge Ito is Japanese-American, B.D. Wong is Chinese-American, Margaret Cho and James Kyson Lee are Korean-Americans, and Cassie is half Filipino. Just because our eyes are shaped the same way does not mean we all look alike!

Cassie, Amerie and Kimora Lee-Simmons are all part Asians and African American. Cassie if half Fillipina, the folks I know call them chocolate asians, I think that's cute, since I too, am a chocolate asian.

"What Cho Wong with that?" Everything is wrong with that! Am I reading this from a TMZ website or a 10-year old blogger's web page? I did not expect to read this kind of name-calling from TMZ. Also, not all Asian Amerians look like Judge Ito! These kinds of stereotyping promulgate hate and TMZ is doing a great job promoting it. Shame on you!
