Fiddy: But I'm Big Overseas!

50 CentRap star 50 Cent said he would retire if he didn't outsell Kanye West. But he doesn't plan on retiring, even though he did lose to Kanye -- at least in the United States. Don't be so geocentric, people!

"[My album] was No. 1 internationally the week it came out," he told Gatecrasher. "It was the No. 1 European album!" Yeah, that's every rap star's dream -- to be big in Belgium.

But technically, Fiddy is right; he did have the #1 album and single on the Billboard European Hot 100. His family must be proud.

McConaughey Out of the RV, Into an Actual Home

Matt McCoanugheyAfter living in a 28-foot, $65,000 Airstream RV in Malibu (and then buying two more), Matthew McConaughey has decided to upgrade. 'Bout time!

The shirtless wonder will now call a 3,500 square foot, $10 million dollar house his new home, according to Hot Property. The four-bedroom, three bath house sits on more than an acre of land and was built in 1949.

Considering Matt doesn't seem to own a shirt, there isn't much need for closet space.

Can't we all just get along ... and share the royalties? ... Still winding down his latest tour, Morrissey already has plans for the next one. His manager tells Rolling Stone he plans on a new studio album and an accompanying tour for '08 ... "American Gangster" took home $16 million on Friday, besting Jerry Seinfeld's "Bee Movie" by a cool $6 mil. It's the biggest opening day ever for Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe.

What's wrong with being big in Europe? Fame is fame, money is money.

Also if you're going to make a joke about McConaughey not owning any shirts, you look really stupid when you have an accomanying picture with him wearing one.

Maybe I missed an edit or something, but the 50 Cent story says that his "family" would be proud - nothing about mother. It could be his son, for crying out loud.

Oh, and David Hasselhoff is huge in Europe, as is Soccer - does that translate to US success???

Maybe Fiddy should move to Belgium. I did not see the "mamma joke" but what grown man should not be able to take a yo' mamma joke? Peace out.

You guys need to chill. They didn't say anything about his mom...they said his family. That includes EVERYONE he's related to you morons. And TMZ, there is nothing wrong with being big in Europe, it's a bigger market than the U.S. I don't like 50 and I'm glad Kanye whooped his ass over here, but there is nothing wrong with being big in Europe. and he never said he had to beat Kanye in the U.S for him to retire, he had to "beat him". Besides you all know it was a publicity stunt (on both ends) You americans think that you are the end all and be all of everything. It's really sad.

Fiddy's publicity stunt is proof that most wrappers are as useful as frozen steam.
