Celebrity Justice
Dr. Adams' First Appearance after Death

Dr. Jan Adams has resurfaced, just days after the death of his patient, Donda West.

Adams arrived at an LA County Courthouse in San Pedro, Calif. today to answer questions about his assets, in relation to a malpractice judgment against him. Lori Ufondu was awarded more $100,000 after Dr. Adams left a sponge in her for six years after performing plastic surgery.

Today's hearing is designed to grill the good doctor, and to follow a money trail to satisfy the judgment.

2. Why is she blameless in this? If she insisted on getting plastic surgury, it was her responsibility to pick the right doctor for the job. She wanted the "tummy tuck" and breast reduction, and she paid with her life. She is not blameless.

6. Harvey -

I have never seen anything quite like this. It gives the profession a slightly tarnished reputation if all the facts come out and he is proven negligent. But like anything else in life there are good and bad in every profession. But the frightening thing about this is that technique should prevail without failure.

Have you heard about the 4 transplant recipients in Chicago that have now been exposed to HIV. The is scary too!

I don't know what to think about all of this. I'm hoping that Dr. 90210 will reassure us with some indirect reference to all of this in the shows to come.

Thanks for keeping up posted!

10. What? Jan left a sponge in his patient also. If you have had surgery performed by Dr. botch king. I suggest you seek a qualified medical professional to check for a sponge or other surgical tools. This kind of thing happens from time to time. When the patent rushes the surgeon. Or the surgical nurse does not do her job.

11. According to what I saw on TV (I think it was on Fox News), Dr. 90210 isn't board certified, either!

12. TMZ do u really need to use Dr. West’s name in every article and breaking news you have about Jan Adams? I think it’s rude that continue using her name in cases that have nothing to do with her. If your going to report on him then do it, but if the story has to do with some other person and there lawsuit against him then you don’t need to keep stating the fact that Dr. West died. We get it he’s the doctor that preformed surgery on Dr. West the day before she died. I doubt Kanye West ever comes on TMZ but at least have some companion for someone that just lost there mother.

13. Harvey, you should be ashamed of yourself trying to convict Oprah about a show she did with this Dr. Adams back in 2003. She hasn't even spoken to him since then.

And to ALL THE RACISTS who will start posting crap about Oprah only having black people on her show. Let's see, are these people black?

- Rachael Ray (Oprah launched her show)
- Dr. Phil (Oprah launched his show)
- Nate (interior designer, and he is gay!)
- Dr. Oz (Medical doctor she has on her show very often)

TMZ, yes they obviously missed the mark with this Dr. when they had him on the Oprah show, but trying to make the woman look bad over a Dr. she probably barely remembers is VERY WRONG, and is unfair to be dragging her into this. And besides Oprah, NBC and Discovery Channel, the Dr. has been on many other shows too....convict them all then. Here are the rest:

"The Other Half," CNN, "Entertainment Tonight," E!, ABC, NBC and "Extra." Adams, who had his own show on Discovery Health, also appeared in a TV advertisement for Chanel's Allure perfume, according to his Web site.

The only thing I applaud you for is making everyone aware to be careful in who they choose as their Dr., but you guys are really making a HUGE deal about Oprah and using her name more than anyone else. It appears you have something out against her and your racist fans are following right along.

Posted at 5:54PM on Nov 16th 2007 by TMZ ought to be ashamed!!!

14.

A typical racist low IQ black quack - a radial liberal Democrat trying hardest to sneak one again past the man - ugly as sin & doomed for hell - amen lazy brothers & sisters ,,, Simpson & Bonds & Adams think they are above the law - axe them if they care?
