Eyewitness: Minnie and Matthew Evacuated

A Malibu resident told KNBC that she knocked on the homes of both Minnie Driver and Matthew McConaughey this morning to tell them they had to leave their homes due to the fire.

No word on whether or not Matthew was wearing a shirt at the time.

His rep tells us that he was evacuated, but that everything is fine. A rep for Minne could not be reached.

3. TO: First poster (or poser, as the case may be....)

If you don't have anything intelligent to say, don't say anything at all.

4. Wow! She just walked right on up and knocked on their doors? They don't have security or a gate? Or heck, even a doorbell? They probably weren't even home. I think they get the news too....

As my Mom used to say, it never happened.

Best of luck to all in the fire's path. Terrible.

6. What about the Normal people who have been evacuated. TMZ Movie Stars like to voice their opinions on us as if where give a F**K about what they say. They are so full of themselves it is ridiculous so just stop posting this crap. It’s ok that they have to evacuate like the little people.

Matthew … Something so weird about him…I just do not want to post it on this board. I think everyone knows what I am talking about.

7. There are so many locations in which to build a dream home around this nation which are much more beautiful than Malibu. But, of course, the papparazzi don't go to those other places like they hang around Malibu. Malibu is way over-rated! I do not have one iota of sympathy for the idiots who choose Mailbu when they build their McMansions. Really folks, why does a family need a 9000 sq. foot home in a known fire zone?

The County of Los Angeles issues building permits to those wealthy wierd idiots which defies common sense- then the rest of us suffer an increase in taxes to cover their stupidity. So, their holiday weekend was disrupted? Tough! Have an effin time suffering, you idiots!!

11.
Matt for the first time in many years has walls around him, He has not been in that home long.
He is the only one who would adjust well in a travel trailer parked next to his burned down place.
I'm sure he had his shirts packed and ready .

13. I just love the way that so many people are making light of this. I just got a call from a friend of mine...a mutual acquaintance of ours just lost everything in this latest round of fires!! Shame on you all!

14.
There may be other places as pretty as Malibu but not with ocean views and private beach access .
The town was easy to close off from regular society, which they have pretty much done there. Yet still be close enough to their jobs.
They feel safer in numbers, but at such a price.

15. Hey #13 - rminva - tell your friend-who-lost-everything that Life is all about choices. Lots of people make sensible choices so we don't suffer gladly the fools who don't make sensible choices. Would your friend's stuff be worth more than a firefighter's life?
