Men have to lead...maybe it's the men that are teaching the women...! If the professional dancing women are teaching the "star" men to lead then I think that it's a huge accomplishment. Maybe they should get some better women on the show and maybe we would vote for them. Mel B?..puke! Marie O?...puke! Who wanted to vote for either of them? The only woman that I wanted to go all the way was Jenny Garth...and lets face it she improved but she wasn't that great!

Well, I think it was one too many grabs of the hosts behind. I didn't get it the first time, and not the next three times either. Maks is so hot and such a great dancer, but I could not vote for them. Julianne and Helio were just too sweet. Like honey......

I think because most of the viewers of DWTS are women, and the women get jealous of the female dancers on the show...SO THEY VOTE FOR THE GUYS!

Thats just my opinion, I could care less about any reality shows, they all suck!

Lets face it, only women watch this show. They vote for the gorgeous men and their beautiful colorfully dressed professional dancing co-stars. It's like ice skating, only with terrible ugly shoes. Who cares who wins!

I think that when the pros are women, the team is more likely to win b/c she has to do all that really fancy stuff...and she alerady knows how to do it. no way Marie coulda done all the stuff whats-her-name did...

If people voted for the gorgeuos man Maksim would have won. Helio is awful ugly. But women also vote for the more likeable female. Which Julianne was. Jealousy is a factor. I was jealous Mel B was dancing with Maksim, so I certainly didn't want to give her a trophy too. But I wanted to watch Maksim for as long as possible. Sorry Mel

Sure, the fact that the show is popular with women isn't hurting the men when it comes to votes, but the men are showing major improvement. Either way, men have it tougher, as they are expected to lead. A good male dancer can drag any graceful female around and make it look OK.

I think it is nothing more than a Charm show. Mel and Max just lacked the "charm" that the Juliieann had, but Julieann is a heck of a dancer and she can make any guy look good. The Pros were not to be judged, and I think all and all based on Consistency Mel B had it all over Heilio she was far more consistant in all of her dances. She lacked carisma and has no charm always making these nervous faces. So she lost. it is a stupid show and I refuse to watch it again. One should attend "charm" school prior to going on the show.

I'm glad Helio won. I was involved with the Indy 500 Festival and got to meet him in 2006 and he is one of the nicest, most humble people I have ever met. The charismatic person you see on tv is not just an act. Great job Helio! All of Indy was rooting for you and you deserved it.
