Disgraced NFL star Michael Vick has been sentenced to 23 months in prison for dogfighting and conspiracy.
In August, Vick pleaded guilty to operating a dogfighting ring on his Virginia property and assisting in killing dogs involved in the fights.
Vick could have faced up to five years in prison.

6. not long enough. not long enough at all. it should be 23 months for each dog he hurt or killed. he is scum. at least its unlikely that he will play again - so, the dogs took his career from him - thats some form of justice.

Dogfighting and cockfighting are sick and wrong.
But law enforcement needs to go after ALL dogfighting and cockfighting rings, not just pick and choose to prosecute the ones who are high profile. All of them. Throw ALL of their asses in jail.

14. Let me be the first to say that I intend to celebrate this day. Thank you Judge henry Hudson. 23 months...... this cannot be appealed. Justice for the dogs. Now Vick can be caged in a six foot cell wit cement walls & a metal toilet................ How do you like that Vick..? I f you are lucky.you will not be body slammed , beaten up hung or electrocuted.....
