Why does the rest of the world chose to blog or even just view such American internet sites that are predominately about American celerbrities in the thirty mile zone, USA if anti American?

36. 25. Thanks for the thought, noyankhere... and I would love to visit the London music scene someday, but America was and still is the BEST country in the world. Sure, we DO have our problems, but our standard of living is still far better than any other country in the world. We just need to start cleaning up our act and getting back to morality. 39. Looks like the many other countries higher on the list don't just yack about Pride. Their stats actually speak for themselves.
Every one of those top five countries have national pride. It's just not deludedly overinflated as a form of overcompensation for being so far down the list. You guys needs universal health care and a few basic social programs if you want to EVER rise up that list. In those other countries the citizens fought for health care and got it for themselves. They didn't listen to the spin.

Any information posted by the UN is flawed. Everyone knows that. And many of the "countries" you have posted are not comparable. Basic human rights are so different in each of these nations too.

43. The United States of America used to be blessed by God because we were a moral nation. We have (since the 1960s) lost our way. Sexual promiscuity, legalizing the murder of the unborn (ie abortion), crooked politicians who put their own self-interests above all else, worship of the almighty dollar, etc... etc...

I guess I'm not surprised if the US is ranked 6th in standard of living by now. We need to get BACK to what made America great in the first place... our Judeo-Christian heritage, the moral traditions that we used to have.
