Dr. Phil on Britney: She Is in "Dire Need" of Help

Dr. PhilDr. Phil has issued the following statement to ET about his visit with Britney Spears this morning.

"My meeting with Britney and some of her family members this morning in her room at Cedars leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention.

She was released moments before my arrival and was packing when I entered the room. We visited for about an hour before I walked with her to her car. I am very concerned for her."

13. Great, now she can get on Dr. Phil and tell the world why she is such a victim in life. Too bad that with all her fame and fortune, she could find time to grow and take responsibility for her actions.

14. I don't think what she needs is to air her problems in public. Obviously the girl needs help but does it have to be with Dr. Phil on national TV? Half her problems - or more - are brought on by her public lifestyle. Turn over a new leaf with your recovery! Keep it private!!!!
