John Mayer Races Toward Humility

John Mayer is known for being a little cocky, but his new toy may put this theory over the top.


The sarcastic singer hopped into his new, baby blue and orange ride outside of Katsuya last night, and although he was cool as he prepared to leave, his demeanor quickly changed when the car wouldn't go -- although John may have been stalling because a bunch of photogs were in his way.

Go speed racer, go!

A Ford GT with vintage-styled livery. How'd he manage that? Sexy beast of a car though.

Anyway, it's not like the GT has been without quality control issues (re: Clarkson fiasco). Sounds like he can't work the gated shifted correctly.

C'MON PEOPLE, CAN'T YOU SEE THAT HE WAS IN THIRD GEAR INSTEAD OF FIRST? LISTEN TO THE REVS DROP WHEN HE GETS GOING. THIS HAPPENS OFTEN TO "NON-DRIVERS" IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CAR.
