91. TMZ, Just below your comment section it says "INAPPROPRIATE PROMOTIONAL COMMENTS MAY BE REMOVED". I personally think (along with many others) that this whole site should be taken down. And your stupid 30 minute TV program should be taken off the air. I am NOT ashamed to attach my name to this comment. I think you guys are HORRIBLE!!!!!!!
No respect for anyones lives. Heath was a wonderful actor and thats how he SHOULD be remembered. And he will be greatly missed. REST IN PEACE HEATH!!! You and your family are in my prayers. God Bless.

92. The reason this upsets so many of us is because if a story were to air about certain other celebrities passing, it would not suprise us in the least bit. This though is so tragic. And the speculations are just getting ridiculous. The autopsy will show probably no more than five or six sleeping pills in his system, and if that's ambiem, that's really not a lot. They come in like 8 mg tablets a piece. Now a potent sleeping pill would be deseryl which is 200mg a piece, but it is said he had been taking ambien. Probably being sick, all the travel wearing on his body in the last couple days, with stress and loss of sleep, probaly sent him into cardiac arrest. So lets get rid of the suicide and drug overdose theories and have a little respect.

95. Wow, talk about fast-food takeout at Warp Speed 10. The body was barely cold before the TMZ jackals gathered to sink their teeth into the poor guy's remains. Ummm, smack smack, bon apetit---just don't forget to floss afterwards. It's people like youse who give necrophilia a bad name. Meanwhile schmucks like "Coroner" above and their pious "lessons-to-be-drawn" from this tragedy are patting themselves on the back for their moral superiority. Screw 'em all. Ledger stood out from the interchangeable no-talent Hollywood pretty boys as a gifted and risk-taking craftsman and an all around decent chap. He's left a singular body of work that will endure. The family's loss is immeasurable, but in an industry populated by mediocrities, we've lost a rarity, too: a terrific actor who didn't buy his own press. There really is no justice in this world.

96. 41-42, I see your point but your comments are completely inappropriate. All life is sacred no matter whether they are in Iraq or here in the U.S. or wherever.
I see what you are saying but try to have a little respect.

97. All I can say is that it is a really sad day for all the people close to Heath. His little girl is going to grow up without her daddy his parents have to live with the loss of their son and the world loses a fantastic actor. I am disgusted that people are acting like animals posting slanderous remarks about him being gay and on Viagra. Even if he was who cares, have some compassion for the family that has lost so much and has to deal with their grief so publicly. Is it really necessary to show his body being taken away, I think not. It is all about a buck being made from a very sad moment. Remember the loss Matilda will feel as she grows up and maybe you can be a little more sympathetic.

98. To Mr. Ledger's family... You all will be in my prayers. Heath was truely a gifted artist and his work will live for so many more years than we were blessed to have him. Some fires burn so very bright and with such intense passion that they share themselves with us mere morals for what seems like minutes. What we are left with is the profound feeling of gratefulness to have been moved by their lives. Some are so special that God grants US the gift of them, however long or short that time might be.I know I would rather 5 minutes of wonderful rather than a lifetime of nothing. God bless you all. Matilda your daddy loves you so very much and he will ALWAYS be with you.
As for this TMZ: to ask if you have no shame would be ridiculous. To ask if humanity was a concept you have ever heard of would be silly. I hope you make millions, because that is the least evil you are engaged in. I can't even concieve that you might enjoy this, although I am truely sickened at the thought that is really what you are about. Maybe, instead of shooting film for the likes of CNN and Nancy Grace (body loading) you might look inside yourselves. Good luck with that.....

100. It is in the utmost disrepect that he in death be exploited do you think his daughter is going to want to see the "body Bag" pictures when she is older? He was an amazing TRUE actor and we should respect him in death MORE than we did in life. Who cares if he was gay or what he was taking he could have had congenital defects no one even knew about, but having pnemonia and taking a respitory depressent like a sleeping pill could cause problems. Why do disgusting stars like britney and amy winehouse continue to exist and all the good ones get taken......All of hollywood for years to come will definately see a void in where his talent could have been......

101. what a terrible loss.. I feel for his family.. god bless them to have the strength to deal with this tragedy.. What they will have to endure in the upcoming week is awful enough without the rumors and lack of privacy that they will have to deal with...

102. sorry guys, i feel what you are saying here and i agree, its very disrespectful to film this, but its not the first time its happened . remember anna nicole smith?. This is the power of instant communication systems. there is virtually NO PRIVACY LEFT IN THE WORLD. Tmz didnt create this event, and they are not the only one recording it... on the vid there are a couple of people using their camera phones to record this event..which is plain SICK. but then, i have TASTE, SO, what do i know ??.
LETS JUST PRAY FOR THE FAMILIES AND FRIENDS AND THE BABY LEFT BEHIND .. they will need to gather their courage and will need the public support that am sure that they have..this was a good man... just a human being , doing a good job , acting.. no frills, no diva superstar strop, just doing a good job.i also felt that badgering lindsey lohan, and filming her reaction to her friends death was very cold. am not blaming tmz , but thats the world of the paparazzi for you.. the money shot.. is everything...

103. I don't see what is the dramatically big deal about TMZ showing footage of the body. They do it on the news with regular nobodys daily and people aren't losing sleep over that! Sometimes it is necessary for us see that reality of death especially regarding celebrities. Sometimes it is hard to accept their death because we are so used to seeing them in an immortalalized state, being on screen so seeing an actual coprse or coffin or body bag makes it REAL. Get over it people, no law has been broken if anything thank you TMZ for keeping it real! R.I.P Heath Ledge;r it is truly tragic when someone of substantial talent and promise dies so suddenly and senselessly, my condolences to fans who truly loved and respected his craft; and to his family who experienced him in a way no one else has, may God comfort you through this. And to young Hollywood...take note.....
