48. I sorta kinda feel bad for her now. I mean I didn't a while back, I just thought she was just being another spoiled celebrity but she obviously needs medical help and I hope this time she finally gets it. She does need to be commited cause she is not sane in anyway and I also believe that the constant hounding by the paps has a lot to do with it. Not saying she really doesn't bring it apon herself because she never just stays home but honestly there are to many people in her life being enablers. It's about g'damn time that her parents start acting like parents and try to help her. I have never been a fan of hers, I actually think she has very little talent if any at all but I would never wish what she is going through now to my worst enemy. I did think she needed to lose custody of her children but hopefully if she gets help she can one day regain custody or at the very least get visitation. Good Luck Brit!

50. It's only temporary for the time being - have another court hearing monday 2/4 --- hopefully they will make it permanant...I wish I could be a fly on the wall when he gets the boot..

51. Hats off to the judge....a California Court who respects the rights of family to make positive decisions at a time of grave need and reality on behalf of their daughter and her children! Once Britney Spears is whole, again, she will respect her parents in a way she has been unable to do for sometime. Hoping this will save her life so one day she can be a competent mother and enjoy great years ahead on behalf of her adorable children.

Get the locks to her home changed and an accounting of all resources ASAP! If he begins to publish information held over her head, release the attorneys to take care of his future!

52. Jamie Spears won temporary conservatorship over daughter Britney today in a Los Angeles court decision. He has been granted power over her entire estate, as well as a civil restraining harrassment order against her sometime manager Sam Lutfi.

Jamie will now have control over Britney's medical treatment, her business and liquid assets, has the power to send a security guard to remove someone from her house and change the locks, can restrict and limit visitors at the hospital, and also approve and retain security guards and caretakers at the hospital.

The matter will be heard again on Monday, February 4.

California trusts and estates attorney Bill Hoehler tells PageSix.com that when an emergency conservatorship like this is granted, it would mean that the disabled person is an imminent threat to herself and/or her own financial wellbeing.

Brit your family is not interested in your money or the custody of there grand children they are in fear for you there baby girl. I keep this family in my prayers. I cant even imagine how heart breaking this must be and we only know a 1/8 of what happens behind closed doors.

paperwork that would ensure that her HEALTH was taken care of?

And the people who finally got her competent psychiatric treatment
were her LAWYERS (who, just a few weeks ago, were trying to terminate
their representation)?

You know, maybe Britney's not so crazy after all - maybe the only
people who truly care about her ARE papparazzi!!

59. AMEN! IM GLAD IT HER FATHER IS NOW RESPONSABLE, AS HE'S THE ONLY ONE WHO ACTUALLY WORKS FOR A LIVING AND DOESNT LIVE OFF HIS DAUGHTER. AND THE GOOD THING IS THAT THERE IS A COURT APPOINTED LAWYER. I AM SURE HE WILL SECURE BRITNEY'S HOUSE, GET RIDS OF THE LEECHES AND START AN INVESTIGATION INTO HER FINANCES AND HOW THEY HAVE BEEN HANDLED. IM SO GLAD THESE LEECHES WILL SOON START TO CREEP BACK INTO THE WOODWORK. I THINK JUSTIN IS AWARE THAT SHE HAS PROBLEMS AND THAT KEVIN MUST HAVE BEEN GOING THROUGH A TOUGH TIME. I REMEMBER THE WAY JUSTIN ACKNOWLEDGED KEVIN AT A RED CARPET EVENT.
