New Subpoena in Brit Case

Michael SandsThe man hired by Mark Vincent Kaplan (K-Daddy's lawyer) to field media calls has been subpoenaed in the Britney Spears case.

The subpoena subject -- PR guru Michael Sands. Everyone, including Sands' personal lawyer, Randolph W. Wright, is mum on the nature of the subpoena, however, one source says it is "substantial."

Britney's lawyers, Trope and Trope, drafted the subpoena. Expect a dogfight over whether the info Sands has is protected by the attorney-client privilege.

If I mis-stated, I'm sorry. I haven't read anywhere that the judge is aware that Briteny is off of the drugs. Personally, I don't believe that she was off drugs. Aderall if she was on that is a controlled substance that is usually only used short term, at least short term on the patients I work with.

My real point was that there were worse things than Kevin smoking some dope at home.

73. This is incredibly sad. Britney is human. This is such a circus. People please go and witness a pysche ward where people are just shadows of who they are, it is a painful experience. Britney is mentally incompetant right now, with the right help she can function in this world, but people with severe bipolar are walking medicine cabinets, such strong medication they have to take that would topple the most of us and leads to all other health problems. What a horrible sentence.
Oh my goodness, my heart goes out to her family at this time. She is still their little girl. So much for the American dream. Her father looks like he hasn't slept for days.
Britney has surrounded herself by enablers, well wouldn't you if you could afford it,? she had the luxury of doing that, by being who she is. Anyone who deals with a person who is bipolar doesn't go shopping with them and to places that sell junk food, (very attractive to people with this disorder). Britney went from a physical dancer to someone vacantly driving a car, going to Rite Aid and consuming Taco Bell and god knows what else. This is manic behavior and the people who didn't stand up to her rages or will in these episodes, just made the situation worse, every one who did just got fired. Thanks to the commissioner for allowing her father to take charge. Someone had to and it was most definately not her so called friends and lawyers.

74. I just think people are spending way too much time on Britney and her Drama. Stop watching.....If Britney was concerned about all the paparazzi and all maybe she would stay at home out of the view finder... Not sure I believe that the parents should be the conservator. maybe one family member and one totally non related person to oversee her decisisons.
