No sympathy for Amy's past, and I've not read the article in question, but don't forget the husband's role in the affair and lack of punishment, while Amy was away in prison Joey was living up his 15-minutes. Amy was a troubled kid who did a horrible thing and went to prison for it, fast forward a decade or so later and now she's treated like trash and you think she should just demurely say, gee, guess I deserve that. That's nuts. I think good for her for standing up for herself.
Amy did a radio interview in Dallas last week. It seemed to go fairly well - until her goon husband sent a nasty email putting the radio show on blast for (in their minds) being mean to her and letting callers attack her. Some of the things her husband claimed were said to her were pulled out of the clear blue sky. Boo hoo. Amy Fisher = no talent, classless attention whore

She wasn't "generous" in giving an interview; she's shopping a reality show and is looking for publicity. Her sad attempt to insult legit writer Chance Hayden by saying his publication is "small and insignificant" exhibits her powerlessness yet need to feel fulfilled by celebrity. She wants to be treated like a star yet instead of doing something good with her life, she and Joey are trying to squeeze some more money out of their sleazy history. And Amy remarked that Mary Jo "made more money offa what I did to her than I did" as though this were bad. Oh, should then Amy be making the most money for doing all that hard work pulling the trigger? Such injustice.
She's lucky any one even cares about what she has to say anymore...regardless if its good or bad... that was so 90's... Joey who? right....
