I doubt that there will be much left to this story. As often happens in certain cases, the script has already been written and the ending obvious. Pitiful, isn't it? I wish the proscecutors could make an example of Wesley, but I'm afraid the deck is stacked against them
He is pleading not to be sent to jail. He has a lot of money. He can hire accountants and lawyers. He certainly had plenty of opportunity to have professionals file his tax returns. The IRS agressively prosecutres people who do not have the where-with-all to have educated professionals help them wade thru the tax regulations. They made an example of out Martha, they better not be lenient to this joker that forces the rest of us hard working poor slobs to pay more because he thinks he should be above the law. Throw him in the pokey.
Oh yeah, put him in jail for 3 years so the rest of us TAXPAYERS can support him?
He's not a violent criminal, just a tax cheat. Make him pay up and I mean pay up BIG with every fine and penalty possible. Put him on probation and assign a tax accountant (at his expense) to follow him around 24/7. Freeze his assets for 3 years and give him a modest weekly allowance.
Seriously, there are much more creative ways to punish him where it hurts HIS pocketbook and not society's.
I don't know anything about the "system" so to speak. Does this really happen? Can you commit a crime, then have your friends write letters to the judge proclaiming your innocence? Any lawyers out there?
His lakehouse in Windermere was seized a long time ago, this guy has chump change left.
Pinehills Boyz indeed......
This has nothing to do with anything but what is it with all these Dark Glasses???? Do these people think they are hot s**t or what? They look STUPID.
