18. So I wish that some people would do the math and research their state laws. She just turned 17 which means she was 16 when she got pregnant. Most states say 16 is the legal age of consent. Also, most states have laws that say if someone under the age of 18 has sex, than they cannot be more than 24-36 months apart. These two are 22 months apart. SO GET OVER IT. God, like all of you were virgins until you were married or over the age of 18. Geez, it's two freaking years. leave her alone.

20. he's not in jail because he's done nothing illegal. the law states that a couple may be no more than 3 yrs apart in age until both parties are 18. for instance: a 15 yr old girl cannot be with a man older than 18. since jamie lynn and casey are only 2 years apart then they arent breaking any law.
