47. On January 6th, 2008, at the Center for Rural Development in Somerset, Alysha Noel Harris, of Lexington, was crowned the new 2008 Miss Kentucky USA® in what was her first pageant. Alysha is a twenty year-old sophomore at the University of Kentucky persuing a degree in Speech Therapy and Communication Disorders. Alysha is a beautiful, smart, and wonderful young woman who on April 12th represented our state of Kentucky by competing at the 2008 Miss USA® pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kentucky could not have been more proud to have such a wonderful representative.

48. The Miss USA and Miss Universe contests have (always) been distinctly different.
Miss USA is owned by Trump and has always attracted the not-so-refined women who would never quality for the Miss Universe contest; however, the women are becoming progressively less dignified in time. Why women lower themselves the way Miss Kentucky is doing is beyond my comprehension!
Miss Universe is the contest that has (always) attracted the educated, intelligent, creative, and more beautiful of these separate contests.

Duh. what are they soppose to do. sit back and not dance, and then when someone ask you why arnt you danceing you say, bc im miss kentucky i will get harrassed thats why im not danceing.
