77. It is past time for Jason. David Cook and Syesha are wonderful and I would buy records from either one of then. David A is good and has a pure voice but lacks stage presence which he will gain with experience. If Jason goes top three will be awesome. The best two that are ready to go right now are David Cook and Syesha.

Jason would have been a big hit in the 60's but there are others that should have been there instead of him. Three of the top 4 will sign contracts and their lives will change.

78. Okay, jason IS by far the cutest. My husband has thought jason and brooke had the most interesting voices and said he would buy his cd after the show. My favorites have ALWAYS been Carly and David Cook. I believe that all of the top 10 will do just fine and have some sort of singing career. All that being said, everyone in my family agreed that both of Jason's performances last night were horrible. Last week wasn't much better and EVERYONE knows the teenager fan base is keeping him there. Brooke performed better than Jason and Carly should not have left before either Brooke or Jason. Until AMERICAN IDOL changes it's voting, this will be the results you get. ONE VOTE PER TELEPHONE....no texts, no multiple votes, but then Ryan wouldn't be able to stand there and say......"and after four ga-gillion votes....yada yada is going home...." Blah Blah.. One vote per person would give you an accurate tally of who likes who. I'm in my 40's and I don't have time to sit and text over and over and over for my favorite. I gotta do the dishes...LOL

Hey, but on that note, can I vote for president of the united states over and over....nah, one vote per person. Why you ask? Becase that is FAIR. plain and simple

79. If Jason gets the boot tonight he'll be fine, he will go on to do ok for himself in the music industry. He has established a fan base & I’m sure outside of the competition when he’s in his own element and allowed to write & perform his own music he will shine (& maybe some of the other comments are true he should be performing on a beach or a coffee house) But hey he doesn’t even seem to be the type who cares about money I am willing to bet he doesn’t even want the American Idol title & then have to be obligated to the show! Let them have Little David he wont be hard to market he will go along with whatever the business execs want. Let Jason go off and do what he wants to do & if he does end up at the coffee house I will be the first in line just so I can see the beautiful face of his up close;)

80. Jason isn't just a singer, he IS an artist, and that is important. MANY 'ARTISTS' who sing, cannot technically sing well by the books, yet they are GREAT because their artistry defines them. I'm glad Jason is unique, and who he is. He will go far, I'm sure, and after viewing the many youtube vids of him singing in other places, I'm now convinced of it. I'm glad he is not 'just' a singer...he is soooo much more. For the record though...he does have a good voice...watch the tube, listen, and see.

81. So the dreadlocks and laid back attitude make him a stoner? Just because he doesn't ball his eyes out like syesha or brooke, look caulky like david cook [whose already has an album out], and fake like david archuleta....doesn't mean he is a stoner. It means he is REAL and not uptight. American Idol should be cancelled.....stupid show is fixed, they don't want originality. The only remaining contestant [until tonight when jason goes home] who has a recognizable voice is Jason Castro.

82. Laid back does NOT equal stoned. You guys are so narrow-minded. You'll eat David Archuleta right up when he wins [cuz that is who they want to win OBVIOUSLY, they overpraise EVERYTHING he does no matter how crappy]. Do we forget how he forgot some lyrics to Stevie Wonder's version of the Beatles song? Brooke forgetting lyrics? David Cook forgetting lyrics? Cheap shot at the only person who is real in this competition...and hopefully he goes home tonight because they were ridiculously out there with their comments last night and he didn't deserve that. I bet half the people who vote for "Archie" won't buy his record and he'll turn into a morman Taylor Hicks.

85. I think its hilarious how he stands there smiling, not caring at all what the judges think. I'd much rather hear his voice and see his face than be subjected to that nasal voice, lip licking, closed eyes performer that is David Archuletta. I'd also much rather hear Jason speak than Archuletta. DERRRR DOOOF ball. Simon picked him day one and people who watch this show are sheep. Archuletta may be shoved down everyone's throat, be he's going to sell as many cds and Taylor who?

87. American Idol is a singing competition, if you can sing then go for it, if you can't sing step away from the mic. David Cook is a helluva a performer and pretty good singer, Syesha Mercado is a decent performer with an unbelievable singing range, David Archuletta is a decent performer and a near perfect singing range (sure he'll get better with age)
Jason Castro is a pretty young man, with pretty young pink lips, pretty long dreads, pretty crystal like eyes, WITH A PRETTY BAD SINGING VOICE. COME ON PEOPLE LETS FACE IT WITH OUT THOSE LIPS,DREADS & EYES, JASON CASTRO IS JUST ANOTHER PRETTY BAD SINGER

88. Jason has a unique voice and his own style which I think he still needs to work on finding. When he picks the right song he sounds great. He isn't the next American Idol but he definately is a breath of fresh air when it comes to his style.
He really did terrible this time, but I will surely miss seeing him on the show. My vote is for David Cook. The other David is just to blah, great voice, but nothing I could listen to over and over. Gets to be old news.

90. We all need to remember that once you make top 10 other than winning it does not matter as they all go out on tour and get mass exposure. Many have signed great contracts or at very least made wonderful contacts due to it. It ia past time for Jason to go. They will all have some sort of career thanks to being on this show.
