When Nick Hogan talks to his dad from jail, he's a completely different person than when he's with his mom. He sounds like a seminary student, not a blithering mess.

31. I too believe somethings should just be kept private.
I can not believe the venom and hate that is oozing from the comments. It is like a pack of sharks or lynching mob.
Since when has it become ok and a sport to get enjoyment from anyone's misery. Nick was a spoiled child who pushed
the limits and was not curtailed by his parents. (not unusual) John was an adult who should of been the voice
of reason. , but even he did not act responsible enough to put on his own seat belt. Very sad for all concerned. How
any of you can feed off this and enjoy the misery is disgusting. Have any of you considered how you would handle
your most vulnerable moments broadcast to the world. Just because it is legal to request these tapes does not make
it ethical to make them available to the public. how many of you would hold up to constant close scrutiny of your
every action, your mistakes, recall your own childhood, is there not something you are ashamed of ,mistakes or actions
you have never told. How would you like to be judged by the world. Have your parents been perfect.? this is so sick. Where are the boundaries of decency?

42. To #20 Bob Loblaw, right on! This is all ridiculous. It is time for Nick Bollea to suck it up and deal with it. Absolutely his parents have a hell of alot of responsibility in this but Nick was behind the wheel and he may think he got a raw deal but at least he is alive. The Bolleas are totally shameless in this crime and yes it was a crime not an accident. Whether some folks don't want to admit it or not, John Graziano got his sentence. Nick is getting off easy. Nick's parents are idiots and they need some serious mental theraphy but I seriously doubt they would ever get it and come to an understanding of what they created when they let their son drive. Terry is a wacked out cartoon character who has never given his son what he truly needed, a father, not a pal. Linda has coddled and pampered Nick and acted like a teen-ager rather than a mother. If anyone needs to grow up it is Nick's parents.
