I am so glad most of the posters here are compassionate and recognize a person that is in desperate need of help and does not say rude, hateful, hurtful or joking things about someone in such a dire state of disease. It gives me hope that there are still decent people out there. Cuz the next story about Amy Winehouse could very, very likely be a report on her death...and that is nothing to laugh about. After Britey shaved her head, she should have not been a running joke for everybody either. People in desperate pain with serious mental problems and addictions aren't a laughing matter nor should they be condemned. WWJD? He'd embrace them and want them to be loved and to be well. Atleast, that's what I would HOPE He'd do.

What an absolute waste! In my opinion she is one of the most talented singers today and she literally has the world of fame and fortune in her hands but cannot close them.

Amy does look terrible, lost and in the need of a hairdresser/wardrobe person. However, Many people have lived
with addictions and demons for decades. As long as her heart does not malfunction from the crack, and she does
not start trying to obtain the ultimate high by shooting up and over doses she should be around for a while. Now
if she could only gain some wait. Don't they have Bic Macs in England (3200 calories or so)?

That is a cut and this young woman needs help. I hope someone can. This kind of self-mutilation may not be a death wish, but people do die from it. It's sad that people joke about it and call her names. Perhaps as a public figure, she can help inform people one day.

I think it's horrible that some people would comment on what it would be like to have sex with her. Why would anyone with a soul ask that question? She's a human being just like everyone of us!

I like some of her music but otherwise, what a tragic figure. She is the poster girl for a life gone wrong.
