4. where was Universal Studio's private fire department we've heard so much about? Why did this happen AGAIN? It seems to happen every 10 years.

6. Yeah, I really think this is a case of trying to make a story where there isn't one. She probably has a field on the computer that she has to fill in for a street number. She was just doing her job and trying to get all the information. I'm sure she's used to having to repeat herself several times because people tend to panic and talk irrationally when there is an emergency. Lay off, TMZ, or, you know, report on something of interest.

7. spell check wouldn't pick up the thing/think error, although simple proofreading of one line would have?

8. She did everything she was supposed to. The information pops up on the screen but she still had to follow procedure and ask certain questions that are always required for every call. And Universal Studios does not have a "private fire department". They have a station on the lot that is part of the LA County Fire Dept. All 911 calls for LA County (no matter where they are) go to ONE dispatch center. Bravo to the dispatcher for doing her job perfectly!

I don't thing spell check would have helped much since I thing "think" is correctly spelled. ;) Perhaps a grammar check is in order...or simply proof reading.

And what makes you thing it was a "her"? LOL!

10. Oh it's real all right... I know that dispatcher personally.. As funny as it was to hear her voice on TMZ.com... it really isn't that big of a deal... definitely a case of making a mountain out of mole hill. None the less... it was good for a little comedy relief.... lol

11. Whatever the spelling I know she did everything right. She was cool, calm and collected.

12. Why don't you spell thing right instead of "think"

Posted at 9:27PM on Jun 3rd 2008 by Lindz

13. OK, what was wrong with that?? Nothing. She's not supposed to get all panicky and excited. She remained calm and tried to get as much info as possible. Why didn't the caller explain the location a little better? He could've told her it was in Universal Studios to help clear that up a little.

14. Your reporting is crap. Am I interested in hearing a reporter's ignorance on 911 protocol? NO!! Bravo to the dispatcher who gathered the required information.

15. Ira Nic - you stole my line, but good job. TMZ tries to make a big deal out of nothing alot of the time, then they turn right around and look even stupider by misspelling something.
