2. The image of Jesus with long hair and a beard was one created by early Christian artists. During that time, it was common and custom for men to have longer hair and beards, hence why they depicted Him as looking such. In reality, the men of Jesus' time had short hair and were clean shaven.

Where did you get that information? Beards were very common during that time as well, or we wouldn't have so many statues from that period with men with full beards.

As for the long hair, I think it says in the Bible somewhere that Jesus had long hair.

13. His skin was bronze, his hair and beard were like wool. The hair style would not have been very long.
Like most men he most likey had it long and short at times and sometimes shaved. So don't have a cow over it.

15. I`m jewish myself and cannot believe she`s dating one those usless guys....
they don`t work a day in their lives, they don`t know how to do ANTYHING aside from reading The Bible, they think that are better than everyone else and the worst is that they sweat like crazy and their smell is impossible to stand... now i understand why she goes alone to every single gala, premier, etc.... who in the world would take a guy with those looks to those kind of places....
