The supermodel who fell nine stories to her death on Saturday committed suicide, the NYC medical examiner has ruled.
The cause of death was blunt impact injuries, says the ME. Ruslana Korshunova's body was found on Water Street in the financial district on Saturday afternoon.
Ruslana appeared on the cover of international editions of Vogue and Elle.

Who plunges to their death anymore? Most 'star' suicides are wrist slitting or drugs. Who would intentionally jump out a 9 story window?

That doesn't make sense. How can a coroner know if someone comitted suicide on purpose by jumping or simply was doing something stupid like leaning too far over or trying to fix something on the roof of her balcony and accidentally fell? I would hate if I accidentally fell and died and then everyone said it was suicide. All coroners can know is what is going on with the person's body at the time of death, and internal stuff beforehand. I don't see how he could figure out she didn't just simply have an accident?
