YB bro.............People had one week to evacuate from Katrina, but were dumb enough to stay in the path of CAT 5 storm. Then alot of them were dumb enough to drive to the Superdome and park there instead of leaving town. So they put themselves in that situation when Nagin clearly said do not go to the Dome unless you are handicapped or elderly, but they ran over there like a locusts. I know because I live here!

Oh stop with the whining. Cruise the web and you'll find PLENTY of extreme right-wing web sites that are as biased as they come. Conservatives have NEVER been subtle with their attacks on liberals and dems. If I hear Rush or O'reilly whining about Jesse, Ludacris, Donovan McNabb, (or whatever black person they hate this week), one more time, I'll puke. Still trying to explain how a bat-head-eating-devil-glorifying Ozzie Osbourne is a more "family-friendly" spokesman for Pepsi than potty-mouth Luda? He could have at least attacked a gangsta rapper like 50-Cent, but LUDACRIS?

So now Dems and blacks have a candidate they're excited about. Yet conservatives love to act like people simply aren't disgusted with eight years of Republican rule. We're losing our homes, our jobs, the dollar is basically worthless, we have to pay nearly five-bucks a gallon for gas, take out loans for grocery shopping, etc., etc. No, we're simply voting for him "because he's black".

As much as you'd like to think so, only SOME, not all blacks are voting for him simply because he's black; just as some, but not all whites will REFUSE to vote for him simply because he's black (you whiners like to conveniently like to forget about that little fact as well).

There are many educated blacks and whites who will vote for Obama because they believe he is the right choice.

Like it or not, racists in ALL RACES are a dying breed. Kick and scream all you want. Your days are numbered.

First off, even though Obama hasn't been in the Senate for a long, long, long time - he is at least doing HIS JOB. Unlike McCain who now leads the 110th US Congress in the number of MISSED VOTES. He has missed 63% of all votes!

McCain has a Mexican official on his team who would like for illegal immigrants to "think Mexico first." We wouldn't exactly attract the most desirable immigrants with that policy, only the desperate. This would be a bad deal for immigrants and US citizens, sort of a "lose, lose" situation.

On the other hand, Obama has clear goals for the country and his economic team is full of the best and brightest. Furthermore, Obama did not just pull in economists who are on the left, he also added some fiscal conservatives to his team. More here:

As for all the comments about Obama changing the US to a socialist country, he has stated time and time again that he wants to give a hand up and not a hand out. He basically wants to give everyone the chance to live the American dream, but if you aren't willing to work for it - you won't get it. Two countries that have similar policies are Sweden and Norway, and both are now ranked MUCH higher than the USA for "Quality of life." How low do we need to fall, before we figure out we are on the wrong track? Vote with your brain, Obama 08!
